A resting electrocardiogram (ECG), also known as a resting EKG, is a common diagnostic tool used to monitor the electrical activity of your heart while you are at rest. During the test, small electrodes are attached to your chest, arms, and legs to capture the signals produced by your heart as it beats. The resulting lines provide valuable informat
